Enjoy panoramic views of the sea from scenic terraces, and don’t miss the iconic Lama Monachile Beach, framed by steep cliffs. Cap off your visit with a local treat – caffè speciale, a delicious coffee infused with almond, lemon zest, and cream. It’s a must-try for coffee lovers!
Your next destination is Alberobello, home to the unique and iconic trulli – cone-shaped stone houses that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the Rione Monti and Aia Piccola districts to admire this enchanting architectural marvel. The streets of Alberobello feel like a scene straight out of a fairytale. It is possible to book a local guide for €200 in Alberobello for a 1.5–2 hour tour + liquor tasting.
The final stop is Locorotondo, a tranquil hilltop town in the heart of Valle d’Itria. Its circular old town is adorned with whitewashed buildings and vibrant flower-filled balconies, offering a relaxing and picturesque experience. Locorotondo is famed for its stunning viewpoints overlooking a patchwork of olive groves, vineyards, and trulli scattered across the valley. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in a glass of the town’s signature Locorotondo DOC white wine. A visit to a local winery is the perfect way to savor this light, refreshing wine, paired beautifullwith traditional Apulian dishes.
